Joanne took the leap into the restaurant business after years of dinner guests raved about her home cooking and told she should open a restaurant. “I was always cooking for everybody,” she says. “Instead of doing it for free, I figured I might was well get paid to do it.” In the beginning, the Ketch served breakfast and lunch with two tables for seating. local bar good local bar. Pretty much the only local bar in HMB. If you have ever been to the saddle room in redwood city, then you will know what i mean when i say this is hmb's saddle room.
Harbor Bar - the locals spot The bar is pretty much what you would expect from a waterfront bar with typical fisherman and what appears to be a pretty rough crowd. A locals spot in HMB and reasonable priced drinks. The food was better than expected, especially the sandwiches.
