I was looking for a therapist who would be neutral and help me at a rough time in my life. Eamon listens to me and we discuss what I can do differently to feel better about myself. After 3 sessions I feel we are making good progress.
I waited 3 months to get an appointment here. The office smells like cigarettes. The waiting room furniture is stained and dirty. The photos on the wall are random plants and animals. A loud television in the waiting room was playing The Three Stooges loudly at 8 AM. For grief counseling, my therapist asked me a barrage of questions from a data sheet and the only thing he had to say, other than the questions, was "I'm sorry". Oh, and..."see the ladies at the desk for your next appointment".
My experience with Harbin Clinic Psychology has been wonderful! My testing results were ready within a week and they have a wonderful therapist! My therapist, Katie, is fantastic! She makes sure to create a rapport with her clients and is so kind and relatable. I feel comfortable sharing everything with her. I’m so thankful for her. I feel I am on a path to being the best version of myself and I couldn’t be more thankful for them!
Dr. Dunn was very rude and dismissive. Testing was a last resort for us as we have tried everything else. Years of therapy and behavior modification. Every concern I raised was explained away not in a professional manner. No empathy. We won't be going back and will be seeking advice elsewhere. I'm not a difficult person but what I experienced at our appointment today floored me. My momma heart is hurting tonight. I left the appointment in tears and so did my child. Inexcusable.
