We were visiting from out of state and went to walk the town. We saw this place and thought how fun to pop in and try. It was not a friendly greeting from the 2 women behind the bar that couldn't crack a smile if their life depended on it. Sadly the beer glass was not filled to rim (???? What bartender does that????) and the live music was too loud. We left with in 10 minutes.

Took a trip to Sparta and stopped here for lunch. It's a brewery for the most part but to the side they have a counter where you order food. Ordered some pork rinds that came out hot and fresh. Definitely can understand why it's called cracklin. As they were snapping and popping for quite some time. A bit too salty but good. Also had one of the burgers that were on special. Love it here always a good time and good vibes. Local brews and other favorites, great place to grab a cold beer and hang out.

Upside: a very good selection of beers and beer types (not mostly IPAs like some other places). Downside: limited hours. Good food, including some items that aren't strictly bar food. My wife had the taco salad as a wrap, and it was good enough to make us want to come back. The brat on a pretzel bun was also very good. Trivia every Sunday at 2:00. Their pay it forward plan is awesome. We will be back!
