Prior to going to Happy Tails, we took our greyhound to a large, local veterinary hospital. We noticed our dog wasn’t using her hind leg. On her paw pad, we seen a puncture mark and she’d cry when we’d put pressure on it. After several visits over several weeks, the large vet practice took X-rays and spoke to a specialist who recommended we cast our greyhound for 9 months due to calcification of her tendon. I recently changed vets to Happy Tails with Dr. C. This practice is like a night and day experience. My dog is happy to go into the office; I don't have to pick him up or drag him in. Immediately, upon your arrival he is showered with pets and a treat. My dog Brewster has been suffering from ear infects for the last 2 years and Dr. C was able to get rid of his ear infections and suggest ways to prevent them in the future. I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Catala at Happy Tails for about four years. After many years of pet ownership and many different veterinarians (due to moving for school, career etc), I can say that without a doubt, Dr. Catala is the best. She is incredibly knowledgeable, yet humble, personable and engaging. She is very thorough, and she makes me feel like we are her most important appointment of the day.
