Good place for a double date – We met up with friends who frequent Happy Sumo every couple of months on a Saturday night. The parking lot was full when we pulled in, so we parked in the shopping center parking lot. We walked in and were greeted promptly. The best japanese steaks, seafood, and sushi – This is a must try restaurant. They have the best food and drinks. I even had my rehearsal dinner here and they accomodated all 35 people. I highly recommend the sushi bar.
No Flavor, Boring entertainment and slow service....DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY – Promoted as a family Japanesse style restaurant, this place was so boring. The kinsu Chef's offered nothing and the food was as bland as there personality. The soup was flavored water and the salad dressing was weak. We felt ripped off when we left. The worst food ever. Mcdonalds has better food. – We went to this thinking it has the hibachi kinda exprience. From the get go the manager was very unpleasent and the lady who took the order was very pushy and hurried us all. The dinner here costs on aveage 17 dollars which ostensibly comes with a soup, salad and dessert including the dinner itself. We didn't leave very "happy" – This is my first ever bad experience with sushi. We ordered the sumo roll, spider roll, and salmon roll, and everything was just terrible. Extremely bland. The service wasn't very good either. They brought the wrong roll out and we got the wrong bill. Maybe the hibachi experience is better, but I do not recommend the sushi.
