We had a great time on the river this past weekend! The whole process was convenient, from picking up our canoes and launching from their office, to finishing our trip at the Trading Post and getting picked up and taken back to our car. The staff was very friendly, signage was clear on the river, and Happy Mohawk had made sure to clear the river of any obstructions. Highly recommend! Thanks for a great time!
The staff are helpful and friendly. The river, though small, can be treacherous for the inexperienced, especially when trees that have fallen into the river haven't been cleared out.
I agree with the lady and husband with small child in a canoe? I was in a kayak, have fairly good skills and I was hitting stumps,dodging trees….didn’t care for it. I kept telling my wife how in heck are the people behind us going to navigate these obstacles? Good service, friendly staff, but I’d imagine people with kids are going to be one and done.
