Pizza/pasta – It was terrible... It was only 4:00pm. And when I ordered Spagetti, they came out and said they only has shell pasta!!! Come on they just opened....They said if any one else ordered the dish, they'd have to take it or leave it... This left a bad taste in my mouth and will not stop there again....I spend 5 months in the area and this was really BAD BUINESS.....
Great service – Although I had an initial service problem with Happy Joe's, the owner personally addressed the situation and sent me a few coupons for free pizzas. We're happy to be Happy Joe's customers again!
Best pizza in dubuque – the food is great and outstanding. They have some of the best taco pizza around. the pizza choices are great
Best Taco Pizza in Town – This is a great lunch place. Personal Pizza and Soda for $3.20. Quick & easy. Also has the best taco pizza in town. Located inside a convenience store but plenty of seating inside and out.
Not just for kids... – Happy Joe's was one of the few restauants in Dubuque that I genuinely craved when I lived elsewhere. Primarily a pizza and ice cream parlor, the restaurant is THE place to go for families. The Taco Pizza is the best anywhere - hands down. The restaurant exudes warmth and friendliness - it's hard not to sing along when someone's birthday is announced, and the walls are lined with photos of staff taken faithfully each year.
Great tradition & great pizza – Happy Joe's is a local tradition and serves great pizza. You simply must try the restaurant's special, which is a combination of Canadian bacon and sauerkraut, no matter how bad it sounds. It's totally delicious. This location is a stand-out because of the kids' play area and the buffet.
