When I lived at Troy Mo, I started taking my Cocker Spaniel to them. one groomer I was not happy with cause she had burned my dogs chest with the razer. from then on I ask Rose to be the only groomer for my dogs which she did. I took Flint there for 7 years, we moved to osage county and now i drive 2 hrs to take my dogs there. I will not take them anywhere else. Rose is the best.
Great Grooming & Boarding Service I recieved dog grooming services from Rose and her staff. Upon coming back from a vacation I had our dogs appointment with the vet and they said they were both healthy and commented on how well our groomer is. I would recommend them to anyone in need of Happy Hound Havens services.
DIRTY & POOR CARE I boarded my dog at Happy Hound and will NEVER do that again. I'm not even sure they fed her the food I left for her. When she came home she had diareha w/blood. They groomed her and cut her in two seperate places. When I picked her up, I had to ask the young lady to wash the paws because it had poop on them and she had it in her fur by her shoulders. It was obvious NO one checks on the animals after 5 p.m. on Saturday's. It appears from 5 p.m. until 10 a.m on Sunday's is the next time they are let outside.... read more
HORRIFIC HAPPY HOUND IN WENTZVILLE, MO - DON'T TAKE YOUR PET THERE! This past weekend (Feb 11th, 2011) I boarded my senior toy poodle with Happy Hound. When I brought my dog to them on Friday, she was walking, maybe a little slow, but she could walk and climb stairs. In October, she had a stroke, but was still very functional & playful. I picked her up on Sunday & she couldn't even stand or open her eyes. I had to put my dog to sleep on Sunday. Happy Hound Haven For a home away from home for your pet, I would recommend Happy Hound Haven in Wentzville, MO. The prices are very reasonable, the staff is really friendly, and my dog gets excited when he finds out we're headed that way! And he always comes home healthy and happy! The only drawback to this establishment is the limited drop off and pick up hours on the weekends. However, we've found it worth the minor inconvenience.
