The food was very tasty and authentic, and the service was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately there weren’t many veggie options and I think no vegan options, so I can’t give it 5-stars. My favourite was the congee - very good portion sizes for everything, but especially that. I’m told it’s the best restaurant for dim sum in Cardiff by my friends from Hong Kong - who know their stuff! So I’d still highly recommend a visit. Tour of Cardiff's Asian Restaurants. Restaurant number 5: Whilst the atmosphere was nice, the food and service were not the best. Having gone to 5 Cardiff Chinese restaurants recently, in an effort to try them all, this was confidently the worst of the lot. Far better options in Cardiff, Food took ages to come (we were there for 2 hours for 2 courses), sauce was no good at all in my opinion, wonton soup dumplings were no good and soup tasted slightly metallic. My duck was good, as duck often is, however, my friends dishes were no good at all. Also, we ordered 3 portions of egg fried rice for �12 and it all came in one bowl.
