Dr. Wang is wonderful. She takes alot of time explaining your treatment plan and makes sure are getting your meds with insurance coverage.
My first visit so not in position to rate. However, first visit went well
Very disappointing experience. We came to dr. Wang when son, 37, was first diagnosed with esophageal cancer . We were scared, stressed and desperate hoping to find a doctor who would do anything to help us fight this desease. In the beginning, before the stage of the desease was determined, dr. Wang assumed stage 2 or stage 3 at most, based on the CT scan results. She expressed doubt about the need for a PET scan, since the CT “looked great”. Surprised by all of these 5 star reviews. I found Dr Wang to be not very knowledgeable and lacking empathy. Back when I was her patient, she had pictures of her children hanging on the patient room walls. How inappropriate in my opinion, considering I was there to discuss fighting stage 4 cancer at age 37, knowing I wouldn’t be able to have children on chemo (nevermind the fact that she never even mentioned that I should consider freezing sperm beforehand).
