Dr. Hantman is a warm, brilliant and very experienced clinician. She has helped me immensely over the years, and I cannot speak highly enough about her skills, her wisdom and her talent in helping me and my family. I highly recommend her.
Dr. Hantman recommends archaic practices such as 'holding therapy', a form of painful, embarrassing, restraint coupled with verbal ridicule. She caused me to suffer irrepairable psychological damage. I will never forget 'The April Show' that broke my tiny 7 year old mind, body and self-esteem. I was born normal, abused by my parents, began acting out and then suffered from her 'treatment'. I am lucky to be alive and healthy today after years of proper counseling and treatment to undo the damage.
Dr. Hantman provided help and comfort to our family in a time of uncertainty. Our 4 year old daughter abruptly began having anxiety and showing obvious signs of OCD. This was extremely scary for my wife, my daughter, and myself. Dr. Hantman immediately showed care and concern for our daughter and got us in within 7 days of making contact with her. She was very easy to talk with and gave us great direction. 3 visits in 4 weeks and our daughter is back to herself. We are thankful for everything.
