They Know Running The workers at Hansons all are long-time runners so they know a lot. They have always been very friendly and helpful to me. When they didn't have my size for one of their products, they quickly ordered it and had it within a few days. They are very helpful no matter if you've just started running or have been a runner your whole life.
Experienced Hansons owners are very experienced runners, coaches, and business owners. If you need running shoes, products, or advice this is the place to go...skip the generic sports store and go to a place that knows the sport. They offer weekday and weekend group runs (distance, speed work, tempo) for anyone of any ability (no cost). Their business has expanded to include a professional team, and some team members are now serving as massage therapists and physical therapists who understand running injuries and issues. They know their stuff! Hanson's was first recommended to me after joining the cross-country team inhigh school (10 years ago) and they remain the best in town. No other store that I know of knows so much about their product and the sport that it's used in. No other store that I know of lets you try on shoes and run a couple blocks to see how they feel. The staff are all professionals and will prove it by giving you outstanding service. PROS: Good for the community -- local experts! CONS: Small retail space
awsome salesman had surgery in october.drs recomend to start walking as much as possible.went to hansons store in utica.the salesman there checked my feet and recomended different types of shoes.he took all the time needed to make sure what i had was the most comfortable shoe for me.i must have tried on 15 different shoes.the salesman did a awsome job.ill recomend that shoe store to alot of people.great to know that you can still get great service.thanks hansons pete roch,hills
