I can't say enough about Dr. Hansen and his staff. My mother lost vision in one eye rather suddenly and I couldn't get her in to see anyone in Baldwin County where we live. Dr Hansen and his staff saw her the next afternoon, perfectly diagnosed what was happening (a tear in the back of her eye), and got us in to see a specialist the next day. Very good Dr. Went in after a mega eye store Southern Eye somehow messed up my prescription and I was foggy and seeing halos at night. Southern Eye people said I had cataracts. Went to Dr Hansen and he checked my eyes and wrote prescription close to what it was 5 years ago and said I had no cataracts yet. Got new glasses at Ideal Optical. Perfect
The best ophthalmologist I’ve seen. He was able to recognize my eye issues were due to my rare disorder. The price was amazing as well. Would definitely recommend.

It was easy to schedule an appointment with the office staff. The doctor is great, very experienced, thorough, knowledgeable, and the best guy you'll ever meet.
