Dr. Hansen does efficient and generally effective work and will take the time to make a patient comfortable if asked. He has an impatient air about him, but don't be fooled. He will take the time to answer your questions and does the best at explaining of any dentist I've seen. He's the only Gentle Wave provider in the valley and is honest and straightforward about what it is and isn't. I was referred to Dr. Hansen by my dentist for a root canal. I was impressed with his friendly staff and professional, clean office. However, it was Dr. Hansen that really impressed me. He could have made an easy $800- $1000 by just completing the root canal my dentist referred me for and I would have been happy. Instead, he completed a series of tests and took some better x ray's, then determined that there is a good chance that I will not need a root canal. Dr. Hansen performed a root canal after a crown installation resulted in an infection. I had been in several weeks of discomfort, and after the procedure and allowing for a couple of days to ensure all is well, I can say that it worked marvelously. The office staff is warm and generous. McKenna, assisting, consistently provided support and inquired into how I was doing throughout the procedure. Everything was explained well.
