Dr. Poggemeyer is truly an outstanding doctor & pulmonologist. He’s very knowledgeable, trustworthy, thorough, and friendly. Has great bedside manners, goes above and beyond, and you can tell that he genuinely cares about his patients. My dad had a couple visits with Dr. Poggemeyer, and he had suggested to see my dad as his last patient for the day so he can spend more time during the visit without any rush or time constraint (since my dad was a bit of an unusual case). Dr Poggemeyer asked excellent questions, was very knowledgable and ran a multitude of tests. He appeared to genuinely care. Highly recommend.

I have been one of his patients for years taking care of my breathing issues and sleep apnea. With his help providing medication and follow up appointments I have done well with my breathing for 40 years. During the Las few years I had colon cancer, stage 3 with surgery and chemo and radiation. Now 12 year cancer remission. With my semiannual checkup and scan everything was going well. I went to see the doctor and he ordered a cpap machine. I received the machine but something was wrong with the settings and the fit. I called multiple times to set up an appointment but calls were never returned. Fortunately I had set up an appointment to follow up. Unfortunately, I did receive a call about that appointment to reschedule the appointment for 2 months later. Not worth it

In this historic time of crisis that patients need real doctor care passion and dutifulness according to the sworn medical honor , Doctor Pogemyer staff secretary and his corresponding nurse ,fail to not only to do a little extra help work regarding the emergency needs of patients but also don’t do their minimal medical duties as doctors secretaries and the corresponding nurses. I have been under the care of Dr. Poggemeyer for quite some time. I have full faith in him. He listens, explains, and gives his full attention to his patient (me). On a scale of one to ten, I give him easily a ten.

Very helpful friendly staff, clean office, appoointment started on time. Dr didn't listen well, didn't have an answer for my main issue - cannot get to sleep - even though listed as a sleep specialist. Probably great if you have problems waking when asleep but not at all helpful for getting to sleep in the first place.

Went from having a serious disease to healthy and active due to the knowledge, care, and the clout this doctor carries in the greater medical community. Would highly recommend Dr. Poggemeyer to anyone who needs a doctor who is on their side from the start, and will follow through.
