Pediatric Care of York Support staff is rude I've been pleased with most of the doctors, but the support staff is very unprofessional. As a RN myself, I am shocked at how cold the nurses are. I have very well behaved, polite children and the nurses do not even speak to them except to bark orders at them. One of the receptionist at the desk is always loudly complaining about everything. I wish there were more options in the area.
May not want to come Extremely unprofessional and downright RUDE individuals in the billing office, specifically Candy. They also implented a practice now that if your insurance has not paid a claim by the end of the month, they charge YOU a 10.00 fee for it and will continue to do so until your insurance has paid it. As far as I know, you do not recieve that money back once your insurance has paid. Great Pediatric office! My children have been patients at PCY for the past 12 years. We are very satisfied with their service. The doctors are all top notch and the support staff are great. They are always so good about getting my kids into appointments, even as late as 11 pm at night. I have always referred my friends to these pediatricians because I really believe in them! I trust in there abilities as doctors and nurses. When I'm anxious about illnesses, they are always very calming. They do a super job!!
horrible front desk Doctors have been adequate, but again the front office staff is really poor- I too am in the medical profession and there is no excuse for allowing such substandard front office people to continue working there.
A Pleasure I would like to express what a pleasure it is to take my children to Pediatric Care of York. I frequent the Shrewsbury office (sometimes too much with 3 kids) and It just seems to be getting better with each visit. Rude treatment I just got off the phone with Dr. O'Brian, and I don't recall the last time I've been spoken to so rudely. I was told my daughter should have gone to school today, even though he hadn't seen her. After talking to me like I was a complete idiot he hung up on me. I will NEVER allow Dr. O'Brian to treat either of my children after his treatment to me on the phone.
pediatricians My daughter has been a patient for 8 years. Every doctor we have seen at this office has been great. They always answer all of my questions and their examination is always thorough. The office stays open until the last patient leaves which is usually long after office hours.
Best Medical Practice I have found! Pediatric Care of York is one of the best Doctor's offices that I have found for my children. The staff are very nice and helpful, along with the doctors. My four sons have been going to Pediatric Care of York since they were toddlers. I have always had nothing, but the best of care for my children. I would definitely recommend this office! I have been using the services of York Endocrinology for the past 23 years. I would definitely recommend their office. All the doctors are professional and caring. The nurses are wonderful. They are very efficient, I never wait more than 10 minutes to see my doctor.
