We love Hanover Insurance Group. Our agent Phil Pace is awesome. We are going on 2 years with them this December and we couldn't be happier. Always looking out for the best pricing for us. We never had this kind of service with the other insurance company we had, and we were with them for over 40 years. So glad we found Phil.
Rates are not competitive - use percentage for wind/hail deductibles - charge for using a credit card - customer service is off shore, not in America.
I had an extremely frustrating experience dealing with this claims department. Over the course of nearly two months, I was asked to provide detailed information and respond to multiple questions, including repeatedly being asked the same basic questions that had already been answered clearly in writing. We've had a great experience with Hanover Insurance for about 15 years. Our agent, Donna, has consistently found us the most affordable rates for auto & homeowners, which is no small feat these days. I was hit by another driver last year on my way home from work. Donna took my call from the accident scene, and provided great counsel on what to do next, as I was in a bit of a panic.
