This is not my husband’s review but mine. I was increased in my dosage of HCTZ. With no follow up blood work. 6 months later I was in the ER because my magnesium and potassium bottomed out. Er dr asked if follow up blood work was done after increase in dosage. It wasn’t and I was asking God to keep me alive till May because my daughter was getting married. I was a patient of Dr. Wentz before I was supposedly dismissed from the practice without my knowledge or any form of written communication from them. I only found out when I called to schedule an appointment last week. During my time under Dr. Wentz’s care, I did not find her to be compassionate or empathetic…something that is important to me when receiving care from a medical professional. My experience with Dr. Wentz was disappointing. I felt that the appointment was rushed, and she did not ask many questions about my symptoms or medical concerns. I also noticed that not all of my vital signs were checked during the visit, which left me feeling that my evaluation was incomplete. I was also surprised that I was not given a sample collection kit. Instead, I was told to use my own container at home to provide a sample, which I found unprofessional and unexpected.
