The service was great. The staff were welcoming and helpful but the food is bad I hate to even say it like that but yeah..it was horrible. The brisket was dry and tough. Almost inedible and that’s crazy for a brisket. Like chewing on a cowboy boot. Same for the ribs. I’ve never had tough and dry ribs before in my life until yesterday. Food as usual is always great.
This place used to be the best of the best barbecue in town. They took the Boudin balls off The menu which is insane because everybody I knew that Locate accused the first thing They would talk about with the Boudin balls The hamburgers are pretty good. They have been burning them lately, but the stupidest thing is they’re $12 and you don’t get any fry with it so you’re getting a hamburger by itself thinking you’re getting for $12 a combo. Impressive BBQ with truly impressive flavorful sides. Not full service, so you can save $ on tip. Soda water option at the self-refill soda fountain. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality. Would be great for catering. Been there multiple times before this review.
