Worst service in my life this place should be shut down. Rude managers and employees. Couldn't find all the things I was looking for!
After using Whole Foods for 10 years, the prices are very similar when shopping wisely but the organic options are by far better. The selection of organics at Hannofards is pretty poor for produce, better than most competitors but not good enough... Our options in general, are pretty bad everywhere, unacceptable. Hannofards should try being a leader with the movement toward chemical free food. It's not a costly change. Cosco is a great example of making change in this important movement. Dominic Fontaine

It made no effort to retain the charm of the Durham Market Place.It is too corporate.I think it let all the former employees go.I hear there is a small grocery store in Newmarket.I think I will shop there.

Sale items aren't always on sale. An open letter to Hannaford Supermarkets As a concerned employee I'd like to address the direction of this company. I recently went and worked at a Whole Foods for a year and my impressions were night and day. Unfortunately due to a move I'm now back with Hannafords. I have about 8 years with the company and only make about $9.30 an hour as a grocery supervisor. I enjoy shopping at this store -- have yet to meet a single employee who isn't really pleasant and helpful -and the entire store is easy to navigate and very very VERY clean -- and I find the prices comparable to other markets in the area . ==wishing them merry -- NHgal (senior citizen)

I used Hannaford's Pharmacy for the first---and last---time yesterday. 10 minutes in line to get waited on, 10 more minutes of waiting while the clerk chatted with friends, then couldn't use known defective scanner, repeatedly failed in hand entering in data, total indifference to customer service. Asked to speak with Head Pharmacist, could see person at rear of Rx Area, but they "were not available" so I walked out, never will I return.
