I shop at the stores in Lewiston and Auburn. In both locations, I constantly see people with dogs. Don't get me wrong; these are pets, not service animals. It's unsanitary, disrespectful to customers and grossly unchecked. Do you want to eat produce where someone's scroungy puggle's backside was in the front basket? I have learned that the property manager for the plaza in Pelham made a mistake. Hanaford's Market did not change their policy and the post is no longer accurate. I am grateful for the property manager at Rubicon for correcting the error. I hope that we will continue to move forward as a community and, just to show how I feel, I bought some cookies at Hanaford's Market this evening.
