Dr. Hanna enjoys hearing himself pontificate as opposed to relating to his young patients. My son, although anxious, like anyone suffering could did not feel heard nor cared for during his many lectures from his standing position . Although Dr. Hanna may have book knowledge about anxiety, it seems he has forgotten his humanity along the way. These are children and suffering families, not an audience you are lecturing to.
Dr. Hanna is thoughtful in his continual assessment of your child. He approaches medication very carefully. Most of all, his priority is YOUR CHILD, not the parent or school, and he gladly partners with all for the sake of your child.
My three daughters see Dr. Hanna for their anxiety. I appreciate his systematic approach to the use of medications. His goal is to help them to not need medications but to be able to learn to manage their anxiety without medications. All my phone calls are returned very promptly either by him or by his assistant Nicole.
