I'd think twice before using this firm unless you want them to go grossly beyond the scope of what they were asked to do, charge you for it without ever getting your consent, and then tell you that you simply have to pay because it's already done. TLDR: it seems that this law firm believes they can create a contract without authorization from anyone, charge buyers they have never met for said contract creation, and have our estate sue those buyers if they refuse to pay. I initially contacted the firm regarding legal advice for my mother’s estate and was informed by the receptionist that the initial consultation would be complimentary. However, I was later billed over $200 for that meeting, which was unexpected based on the information provided.
