The restaurant closes at 6pm. I arrived at 5 and they were closed. There were 2 people there and knowing they weren't supposed to close for an hour I walk up and ask for the four person family pack. Im told that I have to get my food from pre-packaged containers in a refrigerator. They had greens, calico beans and coleslaw to choose from. I ask about getting Mac and cheese and was told "we are closed. We'll, we are closing" this was an hour before they closed. ordered 2 bowls of Brunswick stew it was way too greasy ridiculous even cups was so greasy very disappointed.

I stopped in for a brisket plate, you know when you have to have some BBQ meat. It was excellent, I got the Brisket platter with baked beans and mac and cheese and a drink. Hanks is always awesome. Both Locations. They catered my daughters wedding and it was so affordable and delicious.
Best brisket in town. This visit I had the brisket sandwich and it was awesome. Delicious flavor and presentation.
