This was the best meal we had in Charleston. Food was delicious, drinks were great, service was exceptional. The seared rare tuna and fried green tomatoes is something I’m going to dream about for a while, it was incredibly delicious. The two fish dishes we had were just as great.
Got a $25 bill, tipped $5. The bartender decided to change my tip to $20. Contacted management and they didn’t seem to care, took them over 3 weeks change the tip. They didn’t even apologize, and put my original tip back on the receipt. They should have refunded my whole check for fraud.
Always a good meal, service is always on point Staff are ALL so nice and beyond accommodating... we called and didn't have a reservation on a Saturday night and they got us in yo thier community table...by the time we walked over they had a table ready for us. Everytime we visit Charleston we eat here
First time eating at Hanks seafood wasn’t sure how it was going to go . They take reservations but also do walk-ins. However walkin sits at the bar or at the long community table with other people. So we decided to sit at the bar. The bar tender Lady was really helpful on what the favorites was as far as drinks and food .
