Comfortable Shoes Hanig's has a good selection of comfortable walking shoes which are very expensive. Most of the shoes are priced at $100 or more and the sales are always on the unattractive styles. Still, I manage to shop there regularly. Service is okay - it's hit or miss depending on how busy it is.
Chicago's premier footwear One of Chicago's best collections of footwear, great location near public transportation. Wide range of sizes and styles of shoes and boots. They carry Kenneth Cole, Doc Marten and Birkenstocks. I have always enjoyed checking out the latest arrivals, or just asking their (smart and friendy) staff what they would recommend. Some nice deals if you look around. PROS: Great variety, great location. CONS:
Shop their sales I came here when they were having a big sale and scored some Born sandals for under $50. They have a lot of great name brands, but the prices reflect it and I would never shop here if it weren't a big sale. I'm glad we happened to pass by.
