I visited Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken & Wings in Rockford and had a little hiccup with the app when trying to use the BOGO sando deal. I ended up paying full price, but when I came back the next day, Sunshine went above and beyond to make things right. and her kindness really stood out.The food itself was fantastic — the sandos were absolutely delicious. Chicken was superb but my waffle was burn on bottom and cooked to long
I came in around 8:30 PM with a few friends and placed a dine-in order. The restaurant was basically empty, so we weren’t expecting a long wait. We ended up waiting around 30 minutes and nobody brought our food out or called our names. We finally went up and asked how much longer it would be, only to find out our food had been sitting there the whole time getting cold. My wings were extremely soggy and I couldn’t even eat them.
