I went to Hangers in Oakridge and got fitted for my new braces . Some people might think it's odd for an older woman to have printed leg braces but, to me the picture reminds me of the debilitating disease- peripheral neuropathy that I have and how I plan to keep fighting to not let CMT defeat me. I had used Hangar for years as a supplier for Diabetic shoes, thinking that there were no other suppliers locally, or even in the Knoxville area! (Choice Orthotics at 314 Erin Drive in Knoxville, TN is excellent) I was always made to feel like I was a burden to the Office staff at Hangar, leaving them paperwork and not hearing back for months, only to find out that they expected things from the Doctor that they had not asked the doctor for, and with the delays, I often had to make several doctors visits to satisfy the office... read more
