I was sent to Hanger St Peters, MO for mobility problem. The reviewed a knee brace and built up one shoe. Also a recommendation for a KAFO, knee, ankle, foot orthotic. I told Kevin I wanted to walk on my shoes and determine if that would work. It didn't and I need the KAFO. He told the VA my referring agency i didnt need the KAFO, according to the VA. Needed to have my ankle brace repaired. The Hanger clinic where I bought it could not see me for more than a month. I called the Greeley location and got in next week. Keith repaired it quickly with no charge. Thanks and a great business!
After 12 years of relining on Hanger Clinic AFO ankle and Foot braces have been sold out to a lower cost higher profit company that incorrectly made my latest purchase June 6. 2024 I tired wearing for 3 days but apparatus cut into my upper calf muscle and due to arch support being too high started moving the bones in my right foot. Returned on June 10, 2024 for a refund , So far waiting for a response back from Corporate But just learned they have been bought out. So can only expect the worst outcome
My son, (who is disabled), his Family Care Provider, and myself, his mom, met with Tamara Muller, at the Hanger Clinic, in Rio Rancho, recently to discuss orthotic needs for his feet. Tamara was very kind and friendly to my son. She explained what she was going to do and then waited while he removed his socks and shoes. She was able to explain to the Family Care giver and myself what she is seeing after casting his feet. Technician James Sullivan is a perfectionist, I ended up with a perfect fitting afo with custom insoles!
3 visits to this facility and they were all bad. The most recent was the worst. Scheduled my brace repair a week in advance. Gave them a detailed list in advance of the work I needed done. After waiting an hour past the appointment time they then tell me they can’t get the work done that day. Specifically they said they had a “walk in” that got priority over me and that they couldn’t get to my brace and I should just leave it over night. I cannot say anything good about this…impossible company to work with I cannot say anything good about this company. It should not take months to get your shoe back for a common lift from a leg discrepancy I have lived with since 1981. These people have no clue what they are doing and pass the buck in a circle from one to the other, inventing bizarre and nonsense rules about why they have not proceeded with a shoe they have had for 2 months. The office clerk, Felecia worked diligently to determine my insurance would NOT cover a prosthetic finger. She agued with my insurance company when they tried to find a way to have her submit the claim. She refused to respond to a request from me for a cash price until I called another office branch to try to work with them on obtaining the prosthetic finger on a cash basis.
