My ankle/foot deformity is severe and I tried several other orthotics & prosthetic offices and providers who could not help me. The others would only work on a brace but not the shoe so I could wear it. But after consulting with Dave Ditorrice at Hanger in Waukesha, WI, he stated that he could assist me with brace modifications AND custom shoes. The staff is wonderful and understanding. And I never have to wait long to be seen.
My son had his helmet for about 3 months and the team at Hanger made it so easy and positive. Every visit we were treated with such kindness. They answered all of our questions and took their time with us. My son LOVED Dr. Cohen. We are so thankful for the team at Hanger!
Very friendly staff. No unnecessary waiting for your appointment. I'm always 15 minutes early for all my appointments and usually I'm still waiting 15 minutes to half an hour. Not at Hangers.
The VA got me an AFO (ankle-foot orthotic) through them. The velcro portion (strap - detachable/standard) won't stick anymore. I looked online to see if I could find a replacement but couldn't find any. I went in to see if I could get some advice. Answer: I need to make an appointment, and if the VA won't pay for that, then it'll have to be self pay. I have had 5 AFOs through Hanger.
