I'm a left transradial amputee as of February 11, 2019. I came to Hanger in 2020. Right from the start I was impressed with the service that was provided. Hanger really worked hard to get the approval from the insurance company to get approval for my first prosthetic device. My Prosthetist, Patrick McGahey is the best. I'd give these folks 6 or 7 stars if I could. My doctor sent me over for an ASAP post-operative brace to stabilize my hand so the healing could continue and his stitchery for two torn tendons and a torn ligament not be in vain. Delia and Trinity in the front reception office were amazingly kind. They squeezed me into the schedule, though they said it might be more than an hour's wait and were sympathetic, courteous, and gracious about the fact they couldn't see me, a walk-in, right away. Could not be more satisfied with the care I have been given since my amputation happened on 7/5/23 in. Colorado Springs where I met Jennifer with Hanger clinic there to when I arrived here in Ft. Worth where I live and met Carolyn. Both these ladies made sure I had everything I needed to heal from medical devices to just plane being my biggest cheerleader to get healed and in a prosthetic leg.
