My experience is specifically with the Burnaby location. Handyman Connection responded immediately, sending 2 men the next day, June 1, 2022, to provide an estimate to rebuild my deck. They promised completion in 3 weeks, using all existing railing & much of the existing deck. They provided a verbal quote of $10,000 ($14,000 max) to begin the next day. The office responded with a contract for $19k, reducing to $17,000 when questioned re: difference. $5,000 deposit was paid immediately via credit card for company to proceed. ... read more
This was our first time reaching out to Handyman Connection and I wish we had done it sooner. They are very professional, easy to talk to and connected us with our Handyman, Ahmad. They were fast to book us in as I am seven months pregnant and we had quite a list of projects to be done in a small window of time. The owner, Deepak was very friendly as well. Highly recommend reaching out to The Handyman Connection if you're needing work around the house done. Thank you for the great quality work and excellent customer service!
The 4 stars is for the extra work put in by the 2nd handyman. The 1st one walked in and told me I had gotten a good deal (something I never asked). He damaged my new floor, painted the patch when you could still see the mesh under the mud and painted the walls without cutting in. Good thing my contract had a clause about satisfaction guaranteed. I have been dealing with Handyman Connection for over two years. It has been a complete nightmare!!! We signed a contract and paid an $8000 deposit for them to renovate our garage and two decks. They have since come back on numerous occasions requesting for more money over erroneous claims, essentially breaching their contract which we had signed.
