We just had Handy Guys do a renovation job of enlarging and putting stairs into our storage area in the house. They did an excellent job, exactly what we wanted, they left the site clean. They were on time, respectful, cordial. Thank you so much.

Handy Guys removed all flooring on the main floor, and replaced it with hardwood. We had sagging corners, uneven areas, and a 1 1/2 inch difference between the living room and kitchen. The new floor was laid to perfection and is seamless (no thresholds between areas). They also created new entry stairs and repaired uneven stairs to upstairs. They tiled the front hall and trimmed everywhere. The result is a beautiful expanse of hardwood that looks magnificent and has greatly increased the value of our house. Handy Guys, Armstrong, BC ( Paul) service was terrible, came in at twice the budget, ( had to go to court) His quote states clean up and removal as part of the quote yet charged me numerous hours for clean up, even charged me to his clean tools/? Days and days of no shows and no communicaton except for the odd text. He said ( and as per his invoice) everything to code, I had another contractor come in to fix multiple issues after they left. ( breakers popping, plumbing issues etc) the contractor that came to fix the mistakes... read more
