Considerate, professional, knowledgeable, and neighborly
I was in Cambridge MD for Ironman Maryland and ran into a huge issue when disassembling and packing my bike to fly home out of Washington DC. Handy Bikes was recommended by my cousin who lives in the area. On a tight time schedule I brought my bike in and Pete was able to resolve the issue immediately and also helped me pack the bike. Truly a lifesaver as I would not have been able to handle the bike issue myself.
It was my first time visiting Handy Bikes, and I had a great experience! I walked in with my bike that needed a few adjustments, and Larry was so helpful and efficient in getting my bike repaired within the hour. He even helped me get fitted with new clip-ins and shoes. Highly recommend!
Great service great reputation. This is the shop. I highly recommend. They also do great group bike rides mostly on the weekends. Look online for details probably one of the best shops in Alexandria.
