Direct Energy of Florida did a great job by showing us how it was possible to lower our FPL energy bill by replacing non-energy efficient equipment in our home and then being able to file for a tax credit or refund on our 2025 federal tax return. Direct Energy of Florida did a great job with our home upgrades. They installed AeroSeal, added insulation, and replaced our water heater, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Salesperson seemed shady. I asked what they sell and he said they sell "the results of the evaluation" and wouldn't be specific. Although, he said the evaluation itself is free. He told me to look them up. Better Business Bureau has several complaints against them. They are not affiliated with FPL. I called and verified. They try to sell you solar power, or AC and heating equipment with high pressure sales tactics. You can get a free evaluation from any heating and AC place.
Technicians did an excellent job cleaned up after themselves. They were professional and courteous. Pleasure to do business with.
