They made the entire process seamless, from explaining the benefits of solar energy to handling all the paperwork and permits. The installation team was punctual, efficient, and left everything spotless. The system has been performing even better than expected, and my energy bills have decreased significantly. A Frustrating & Costly Experience w/Direct Energy of Florida. I wish I could give zero stars for my experience with this company. My journey w/them has been nothing short of a disaster from start to finish. It all began in December 2022 when a salesperson named Mike (may he rest in peace) promised me that by installing solar panels, a water heater, and a pool pump, my electricity costs would be reduced to nearly nothing, with just a nominal fee of about $20 to FPL. A man came out and told me I needed insulation,barrier and solar attic fans 9065 dollars. Showed me pictures and stated we needed all as we had no insulation in attic. He lied. Said government would help and after 18 months I would pay 48 dollars per month with 4.99 percent interest. Next day I called another business and they took pictures and said all I needed was 7 inches of insulation and explained all to me. Don't hire direct energy of florida.
