These people not only help you heal, they also want to know you, know your lifestyle etc to keep you healthy for many years to come. I have had Joanne help me now for 3 different “injuries” over the past 15 years. 2 scheduled hand surgeries and now a frozen shoulder. I couldn’t be happier with the therapy I’ve received. Front desk staff is awesome and the office is clean and light. Very comfortable.
Business response:
Shelly! We love helping fun people like you and your family. Sorry you need us, but glad to help. Healing wishes. ❤️❤️
My daughter came here for therapy for several weeks after severing 2 tendons in her thumb. JoAnn and Helen were wonderful, the receptionist (Melissa) was always very warm and very helpful. We 100% recommend them, and will forever appreciate their help in getting my daughter back to full use of her hand. Thank you!
JoAnn is one of the few Therapist that truly knows her craft, down to the smallest details and doubles it up with a caring and empathetic touch. She's a true professional dedicated to achieving great results for her patients. But what really sets JoAnn apart from other therapist is her command of the Spanish language in the area she specializes in. At a time when being proficient in multiple languages is a plus; being able to care for patients in their native language comes with a high premium... also high results. I highly ... read more
I have joint hyper-mobility and chronic hand pain. JoAnn Keller made me some awesome custom braces that provide great relief. She also spent a lot of time letting me try out assistive devices that help me continue to use my hands without causing injury. My hands are happier and I’m super thankful for JoAnn and the great care she took with me.
Hands for Living is awesome! I highly recommend coming here to help get you on the road to recovery for any upper extremity injury. I came here after having a 5th surgery on my wrist and was very nervous to switch hand therapists after moving cities and having so much done on my wrist in the past 3.5 years after a bad wrist fracture (followed by many other problems.) I was made at ease from the moment I first called to schedule an appointment. Melissa was so kind on the phone and reassured me that they had some great therapi... read more
While the doctor who worked on my hand expected I'd need a skin graft, JoAnn Keller, of Hands For Living, approached it differently. She dressed my wound and built a custom hand splint that kept my finger in a position that promoted self-healing. In just a few days it was clear her approach was working. That was a huge relief to me and my doctor! I highly recommend Hands For Living because of my first hand experience (pun intended!) of the amazing work they do!
Laurie and the entire staff are great! I came to Hands for Living after I had surgery on my hand from a work injury. I work as an EMT, so having full function of my hands is a baseline requirement. Week by week, her personalized treatment plan surpassed my expectations with things like custom-made splints and innovative therapy techniques. But it was her rapport that actually made me excited to come back for my next appointment. By the end of my care, we were talking and laughing the entire time. I was incredibly happy with ... read more
JoAnn and her staff are very professional and highly knowledgeable. It's because of JoAnn that I ended up with a surgeon that fixed all 3 nerves in my arm/hand in one surgery rather than 3 separate surgeries. She is very motivated to get to the source of the problem and she's not afraid to take on the out of the norm cases such as mine. Thank you so much for all you did for me. 2 months post op and I'm released! Best Physical Therapist I've ever had and I'd recommend her to anyone.
I had a good experience here with therapy following a hand injury. Consider HANDS FOR LIVING if you need treatment for recovery.
