We have really loved going to Handel’s. We have been to multiple locations and all have been awesome until last night. We ordered multiple different items and all of them were about half the amount of ice cream that we were used to at Handel’s. As we ate our ice cream right in front of the sign that reads, “we don’t skimp” we were a bit frustrated when we scraped the bottom of the container way faster than normal. This has been my family’s favorite place to get ice cream since they opened. but I think their mixers are broken! The last few times I’ve gone with a group, someone always gets a scoop that doesn’t have ANY mix ins and is just the plain base flavor. I got Oreo cheesecake the other day and was handed a scoop of plain vanilla ice cream. And then tonight my husband ordered an Oreo and peanut butter flavor and just got plain chocolate. Wow ~ This store is very sad in comparison to the Sandy location. REALLY?? We fell in love at the Sandy location. The helpings, amounts of each ice cream flavor at the Sandy location is wonderful and makes sense plus is so fair for the price!. We now LOVE Handles and were excited to get some more! Thus; we paid a visit to this particular store and we were shocked about how tiny and little the scoops were for the price‼️🤬 Not good! We are sad we spent our money here….and are sorry we did. Never again.
