So many options, my go to ice cream spot on Newport Beach
Each bite was delicious down to the last. We got the vanilla made with oreo and pistachios.
Had Hansel’s for the first time in Carlsbad, CA. I ordered a small waffle cone. I figured there would be one scoop of ice cream, but the server kept reaching in to get more. It was 3-4 scoops! I thought she misunderstood my order, but no, that’s a small cone. Ice Cream very high quality and so delicious. Back in the same area two days later and we had to have more. My new favorite ice cream shop!
Maybe we’re spoiled with so many great ice cream spots around, but I honestly don’t understand the hype about this place. I tried the black cherry and strawberry cheesecake, and while the texture was fine, both were intense yet somehow completely lacking in real flavor. The cones are really good though
5 star service and taste. I ordered the Sticky Fingers - it was delicious. Just north of 20th Street - thank you from Dayton, Ohio!
