Shockingly incompetent. Failed to attend a scheduled visit (no call, nothing..) having been late or inconsistent on many other visits for a month or two. Manager was surprised to find out that multiple carers had been visiting my mum when the manager believed it had just been one. They then failed to correctly inform the council of the cancellation of service even though I was assured they would do so. Multiple phone calls (before and after cancellation) where they had the wrong contact number for other people in their care ... read more

My nan's carers neglected to report to our family that the cat was injured seriously until family saw the cat 2 days after it (nan has dementia would of been unable to do this herself) had been documented in the care notes the days prior. Hand2hold then refused to take accountability for the pain the animal was in the days after the injury. The cat had to be put down due to the pain, making my nan very low in mood for months afterwards.
