From the first visit Sarah had a plan. I've had my share of treatments in the past and I found Sarah's approach calm and effective. It's like she snuck up on my elbow problem. From day one I got better and better. I'm all fixed up now but I will definitely return if needed. Thanks Sarah your top notch!
Sarah helped enormously with diagnosing an issue with my radial nerve and begin regaining the use of my left thumb. The difference which a few sessions of acupuncture has made is tremendous. Sarah is so very kind and compassionate and truly cares about her clients and their ability to live life again without pain. Four weeks and waiting for someone, anyone, to get back to me so I can book an initial assessment. Have reached out by phone, filled out their digital form, have a referral from the doctor…. Clearly there is some inept office staff. Unbelievable that recovery from painful surgery would have to wait because of incompetence. Go to the hospital clinics instead.
Zero stars. The women who called me for my appointment with Tamara was rude and impatient with me as soon as I answered the call. I had questions about what type of service they offered, and she was rude and short with her answers. I still don't have answers. I kindly asked for clarification on if the service was covered or paid for out of pocket, simply because I was confused on how a referral from my family Dr would not be billed under OHIP. She snapped at me and hung up on me when I told her I didn't appreciate her tone.
Sarah Mawhinney, Hand Therapy Canada, is delightfully compassionate and diligent in supporting people with hand issues. I have seen her twice for help, after trigger finger release surgery. She has made a difficult recovery better. Highly recommended. The clinic is located in the offices of Move Massage and Physio, on the second floor in Burlington Centre.
