I came in for a basic facial today and had a good experience overall. The service was warm and welcoming from the start — Ashanta at the front desk greeted me kindly, and Maya, who did my facial, was great. However, my experience ended on a disappointing note. After my treatment, I added a $10 gratuity, but it was clear from Ashanta’s demeanor that she wasn’t pleased. The spa delivers truly amazing massage treatments — I greatly appreciate the massage therapist's skill and caring work. However, I’m giving a less than five-star rating due to non-service related issues, including miscommunication and poorly built website, which contains multiple errors and misleading information to customers. For instances, the website prices are lower than what was actually charged, and the membership rewards program appears to be misrepresented. I have been seeing Latasha for massage therapy every month for awhile now. I have chronic pain from the severe rheumatoid arthritis I have had since I was in my early 20s. Over the past 40 years, I have seen a number of e seen MTs, with varying degrees of success. Since beginning with Latasha six months ago, I have experienced more pain relief than I have in years. She is terrific!
