I have been trying to cancel my membership and it has been a nightmare. I have requested the written cancelation form twice...never received it. Tried to email and can't cancel that way. Sent a letter to Allen. No response. I am now going to have to make a 30minute plus one way drive to deliver a cancelation written letter in person and see if this works. My time is as valuable as any at the Allen Spa and canceling a membership should not be this arduous.
I visited for a facial and full body massage package. While the facial portion was satisfactory, the massage experience raised serious safety concerns. The therapist applied a substantial amount of peppermint oil to my face, which caused immediate burning sensation and eye irritation severe enough to impair my vision temporarily. Darby is a fantastic massage therapist. I came in with a sore back from gardening and left without discomfort. She is fabulous.
