The massage person was 15 minutes late for my appointment. She gave me a deep tissue massage with pressure points when I specifically asked for a light to moderate Swedish massage. Finally, their website states they are eligible for SpaFinder gift cards, when that is apparently location specific. All in all, it was not a great experience and I will never be going back to Hand and Stone in Madison.
Seems overpriced. I had a 130 dollar gift card for a facial. I wanted to add on microdermabrasion and was told that was an additional charge of 40 dollars. I see on their website that a 1 hour facial is 70 dollars. I was told that the rest of that money is a tip. I don’t know anyone that tips 60 dollars on a service that costs 70? I’m confused about having to pay 40 dollars on top of that.
