We enjoyed our meals from Hanalei Bread Company! The line was long but it moved quickly and we were able to take our food to go.
We got Belgian waffle, olive toast and monkey smoothie. The food was decent but not the best. The smoothie was extremely sweet for us. We diluted it half way with the milk they have for coffee and still found it pretty sweet. Waffle was good but could have been a bit lighter and had more toppings, but to be fair, they gave us extra strawberries when we asked. We asked for no goat cheese on the olive toast which still had a hint of goat cheese when served. It was still pretty good though.
Everything we tried was delicious. The ingredients seemed fresh and they had options for everyone.
Slap avocado on dry toast, cover it in greens and charge $14, then call it a day. The brekkie sandwich looked very good.
Best banana bread of my life! This place is a must-try if you’re in the north side of the island. The biscuit is also delicious & worth trying. Coffee is decent, but recommend wishing well coffee down the street. Definitely come here early before it opens, a line forms but you’re helped fairly quickly. We will be returning everytime we’re in Kauai!
