My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hanalei Beach House. The house was great with modern amenities that made the stay even better. The pool and sun lounges were amazing and allowed us to relax in the comfort of our stay. The home is just out of Port Douglas which allows for beautiful quiet however is still close walking distance to a few cafes and restaurants. This is an terrific house in Port Douglas, where my wife and I have stayed for a month each winter to escape the Melbourne cold; this year we splurged and took it for six weeks The owners are wonderfully available and ensure that nothing needs attention or to be changed. We had very well-traveled friends with us for a short week; their parting statement was "This is the best holiday house we have ever stayed in". For mine, clearly five stars across the Board. I can only say that there was nothing to fault with this gorgeous house. It was true to the photos ( maybe even better), the attention to detail spot on and all the hidden extras made our stay relaxed and luxurious. Wendy and Paul have gone out of their way to ensure guests are provided with a home away from home experience. This thoughtfulness was very appreciated by our family of 6 (2 parents, 2 kids - aged 10 and 12) and grandparents. Thank you very much! We love Port Douglas.
Had a wonderful stay at the house. The tropical garden is lush, the kitchen is well equipped, you get morning sun by the pool and the bbq / outdoor area is spacious and comfy. Can’t fault the place.
