Everything was wonderful. The place was clean, furniture was nice, bedrooms setup beautifully, etc. Nothing was worn or tattered as in some rentals. We really enjoyed the pool after a day of hiking, snorkeling or birding. We wouldn’t change a thing.

Hanalei Beach House is a must for those traveling to Port Douglas! The home is absolutely stunning and offers so many wonderful amenities! The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware for those who would like to prepare meals. The home is spacious and luxurious! The beds are very comfortable, offering a great rest after spending a day at the reef or the rainforest. The gardens and pool are gorgeous and so relaxing. As returning visitors to Hanalei this is no ordinary accommodation,we loved our stay, from the moment you step inside this house oozes the tropical feel but with all modern comforts needed to relax and recharge. The hosts are friendly and considerate of guests needs and requirements. We found the long afternoon’s in the pool a highlight and really enjoyed our time at Hanalei. See you on the next trip.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hanalei Beach House. The house was great with modern amenities that made the stay even better. The pool and sun lounges were amazing and allowed us to relax in the comfort of our stay. The home is just out of Port Douglas which allows for beautiful quiet however is still close walking distance to a few cafes and restaurants. This is an terrific house in Port Douglas, where my wife and I have stayed for a month each winter to escape the Melbourne cold; this year we splurged and took it for six weeks The owners are wonderfully available and ensure that nothing needs attention or to be changed. We had very well-traveled friends with us for a short week; their parting statement was "This is the best holiday house we have ever stayed in". For mine, clearly five stars across the Board.
