We stayed on 7/30/25, the night a tsunami warning hit Hawaii. The hospitality was exceptional. We had never experienced a tsunami so we had no idea whT to expect, but all of the staff was so kind answering questions when I'm sure they were completely overwhelmed and just wanted to get home to their families. Selma especially at the front desk was so kind and helpful. Great place to break up the trip to Hana, but keep your expectations low. No air conditioning, which makes it tough to sleep. Our toilet broke many times, I just fixed it each time so that the water didn't run continuously. Safe broke, had to call maintenance twice to get it fixed. We had a weird thing happen. Teenage hooligans started banging on our doors and windows late at night. I called the desk and they said they would send security over (they didn't, I'm not sure if they do have a security team or not). The teenagers ... read more

Nice place. Came only for breakfast. The Eggs Benedict was amazing. Service was good, and bathrooms were fine.
