My wife and I were coming back from a week in Wimberley and Fredericksburg TX when our Audi experienced a flat tire. New cars do not come with spares and as we limped into San Saba we did not know where to go. Fortunately, a service station directed us to Hamricks Automotive who quickly looked at the vehicle and were able to repair the tire within 30 minutes. While we waited the staff and fellow customers were so nice and accommodating! Highly recommend them for any auto related need.
I was driving from College Station to San Angelo and I had a tire blowout on a horse trailer when I was 10 minutes out from San Saba. I called Hamricks and they were already closed, but they answered the phone and told me they would have somebody come back in to meet me there. They were so nice to deal with and got a new tire on the trailer within 30 minutes and got me back on the road. 3rd time using them. 1st time, they fixed a leaky tire/ rim on wife's Chevy Cruze that 2 other places over 14 months couldn't. 2nd time, off balanced tire on her car, they found the tread separated, gave me a GREAT price on the specialized tire that model needs. TODAY go there with what was surely bad front brakes: squeel, wheel vibration braking. They found a stone lodged in a caliper, disc pads better than 50% left. If you are in the San Saba, Tx. area. And you are stuck on the road, with tire trouble. Give them a call! They have after hour service that can fix your problem on the road. Staff is super professional, helpful, friendly, and go out of their way to help you! I was towing my travel trailer/toy hauler with my Harley in the back. Had a blow out on one of the trailer tires. I was 5 hr from my home in San Saba trying g to do work on deer lease, had 2 front tires on the kabota were flat. They were able to help me out with 2 new tires with steel valve stems and then put stop leak in the tires due to the rough terrain in the hill country. I would recommend Hamricks to anyone.
