I like Dr Hamre. He has been great with my wife through her regular appointments and now during the pregnancy. He has always made small talk and seems to care for my wife and her well being. I would recommend him.
My experience with Dr. Hamre and the nurses was great! Very laid back but professional and took time to explain things and listen to my questions and concerns.
I was seen by Dr. Hamre for the first time in March 2025. It was not the appointment any women that is 8 weeks pregnant wants to be at. I was having a miscarriage. My exam was extremely painful, and he apologized multiple times and explained why it might be painful. He made small conversation to get my mind off of things. Terrible experience! This doctor had no regard for the pain during my exam, despite me telling him several times. Terrible bedside manner. Even the student doctor was shocked by his lack of care and response toward me. Do not allow him to perform any exam on you, especially women of color! Please do not subject yourself to his blatant disregard of your wellbeing.
I had my first appointment with Dr. Hamre yesterday regarding my pregnancy. I had read reviews here about his demeanor with patients and I was concerned about how my visit would go. Dr. Hamre was extremely nice. He was able to clear up any concerns I had. When he did the ultrasound he seemed genuine in his excitement for what he does. We all enjoyed getting to see the baby moving around. I am very excited to have him as my doctor for this pregnancy.
