Dr Hamre sent my wife a letter saying she is banned from not only his office, but Premier Medical as a whole due to my wife standing up for herself disputing a charge. I have every email to and from. He said that she used threatening and abusive behavior, using profanity. Of course she used profanity as an angry patient, but profanity isn't threatening. If I could give zero stars, I would. I was pregnant during covid and of course had many questions and concerns. He was dismissive and “fired” me as a patient and banned me from the entire office after I decided to have a home birth, so in order to see a new OBGYN I have to appeal his decision. It is wrong on every level for one doctor to be able to ban you from a practice because they were not a good fit for you. If you have any concerns or questions, do not go to him. He will mock you, dismiss you, or ignore you entirely.
Immediately no. If you have any concerns or anxiety about your pregnancy, this is NOT your guy. I’m a high-risk, African American and expressed my nervousness to Hamre. Not only were my concerns ignored, Premier wouldn’t even let me switch to a different OBGYN because he refused to release me. I don’t know why any patient would want to stay with a doctor that ignored concerns AND refused to let them switch, but that’s what happened here. He is very impersonal with patients and he has his own agenda how he wants your care done and he will make you feel like you have no other options, essentially it’s his way or the highway. I did not want to get induced with my son but I was young and he told me I only could get induced on two days, my due date and at 41 weeks and 1 day which he told me I shouldn’t do the second day cause it increases my risk of C-section so of course I was like okay let’s just do the first day, I wish I had fought harder to just go into labo... read more
I like Dr Hamre. He has been great with my wife through her regular appointments and now during the pregnancy. He has always made small talk and seems to care for my wife and her well being. I would recommend him.
