Good first: I've had friendly and professional customer service reps. Bad: The billing and automation system is a terrible mess. My roommates and I have had an absolutely horrible time trying to end our interactions with HRSD. I've been given not one, not two, but THREE closing/final bills...and I'm afraid more are coming. A service that should be covered by Newport News Waterworks. This is an entirely useless agency. Customer services and bills reflected on water usage of a different company. However, they can only help with leaks if you didnt report them to Waterworks already. Poor customer service, poor online portals. Required to use but terrible in every way.
