Newport News resident here. An obvious trail of overcharging residents is apparent here. To add fuel to the fire the website has not been accessible for quite some time... Oh why is that HRSD? Do you not want the people having to pay into this monopoly from verifying and accounting usage? An Inspector General/Auditor needs to be assigned to this matter.... I smell lawsuits...
if you live in norfolk , the pipes everywhere are old which they refuse to fix or acknowledge water prices are thru the roof for all NORFOLK RESIDENTS, as well as july 1 a new increase in all services provided, including trash !! they double charge owners and tenants for stormwater as well ! The residents of the City of Norfolk need to all get together to file a complaint with the Utility Commissioner, and send a letter to our local law makers. There is no way our bills are correct, I live by myself no way do I run a $200-$300 water bill; however HRSD wants to tell every resident who calls complaining about their water bill "you have a leak" sorry not everyone in the city of Norfolk has a water leak and if we do the City of Norfolk needs to come out and fix the City Leak. New update made me reregister my account and make a new password and the new password worked once and now says I have invalid credentials. When I go to make another new password it recognized the password I had just made as a previous password. Make it make sense
