The USS Wisconsin is a legendary battleship commissioned in 1944 that served in WWII, Korea, and the Gulf War. It was nicknamed "Big Whiskey," and it is famous for being the last active U.S. battleship (decommissioned 1991), firing the final 16-inch shells in Navy history. It is now a museum ship and part of Nauticus, a maritime-themed science and technology center in downtown Norfolk, Virginia.
Very interesting and great story behind it.
